With Daylight Savings time, we got started a little late. With 2-3 inches of new snow last night, we decided to go snow shoeing. We drove to the highest parking lot on Buffalo Mt. (approx. 12,100 ft). From this point we put our snow shoes and started the up hill climb. Because of last night's snow, the trail wasn't clearly marked. We walked for about 45 minutes and then turned around. We met a lady who was trying to find her way out and showed her the path.
After we returned to the parking lot, we drove home and picked up Benny. We travelled to Vail to walk around the town. Vail has changed alot over the last 3 years. Many high end condo's. The weather was TOTAL sunshine with temps in the 30's. Monday should be a little colder with snow on Tuesday.
